meet our team

  • Ryan Elliott

    Owner

Ryan started house/pet sitting when he was only 20!  Born and raised in Deerfield, Ryan has always had a love for dogs + cats. For over 20 years, Ryan worked as an Office Administrator in various real estate offices while simultaneously doing theater and pet care on the side.  While in-between jobs in 2019 Ryan kickstarted Elliott’s Pet Services and has been thrilled to have so many fellow pet-lovers join him on his pet care journey!

  • Lynda Brown

Lynda has been with Elliott's Pet Care for almost two years. Where has the time gone? She put a pause on the corporate world to hang out with paws in the world of love. What she loves the most about taking care of four legged furry loved one's is the wag of the tail when she walks through the door or the purr of the kitties. You can catch her singing with the pups on their walk. She takes way too many pictures because every picture is so dang cute.

On her time off you can catch her talking with her adult sons Robert in San Diego and William in Maui. She loves to ride her bike as her Border Collie runs next to her. Lynda loves to listen to Michael Mahany, her fiance, play at his piano gigs on the 7ft Steinway.

  • Kirsten Caspersen

A semi-retired office worker by day—dog sitter by night. Kirsten has owned or fostered 50+ pets, and love the old ones and snuggle-ers the best. She is happy to care for your pets so you can enjoy your time away worry-free.

  • Laura De Croocq

Laura has been pet sitting for over 20 years. She loves all animals, especially rabbits. Laura is also an artist & designer. In her spare times she enjoys theater, traveling, and antiquing.

  • Wendy Galloway

Wendy has been working with Elliott's Pet Care for 3 years as a pet sitter, while also working at New Trier Transition Program in Glencoe. Currently she has one cat, Eponine, who rules her home (as most cats tend to do 😉). She has always loved animals of all sorts and have owned/cared for dogs, cats, Iguanas, Geckos, fish, birds—even the occasional pig, horse, or goat when she was growing up in a Michigan farming community. Wendy would love to get to know your pets and be a part of your pet care team!

  • John Gion

John is a freelance costume designer—In the “real world,” he works as a paraprofessional with special needs young adults in the Transition program at Laramont school within the Special Education District. When teaching or costuming, he still finds time to pet sit, which he loves.

  • Michelle Jackimiec

Michelle is a life-long dogs + cats caretaker. She is a mom in Deerfield with two amazing twin girls, who are also animal lovers. After being a stay-at-home mom most of the girls lives, she knew this would be the perfect role when hearing Ryan was looking to expand the business. Michelle loves dog walking—as it not only helps physically, but mentally as well! Working with pets has become something Michelle really enjoys and to her doesn’t feel like work—but a place of happiness.

  • Lisa Vanderbleek

Lisa is your trusted house + petsitter with a passion for animals, nature, and sustainable living. Through Elliott’s Pet Care, she brings peace of mind to home and pet owners. Lisa is a lifelong animal lover and had many of her own pets including dogs, cats, fish, lizards, and once, at her son's insistence, a toad named Bilbo. When she's not caring for your beloved companions, you'll find her immersed in community conservation groups. Her dedication extends to her own backyard, which she has transformed into a thriving native prairie, showcasing the beauty and importance of indigenous plant species. With Lisa, your home and pets are not just looked after—they're cherished with the same devotion she gives to her own.
